We are honored to have two incredible Mandela Fellows join us this month. They both of accomplished incredible work and continue to do so.
Zaida is an accountant from South Sudan. Ziada is an event manager and recent appointee by the National Government to the South Sudan Artists’ Union. She has over seven years of experience in implementing and improving financial systems for international organizations working on development projects in South Sudan. She is currently the Finance and Administration Manager for Okay Africa Foundation, a national youth advocacy organization. Zaida is also the CEO for Glow Events, an events management company.
Sadya is form Toure, Mali. Sadya is Women's Rights activist and the co-founder of the 4Is Talk Conference Platform, which aspires to organize educational conferences. She is also the CEO of Mali Rural Women Empowerment Organization, which gives scholarships to girls living in rural areas and empowers uneducated women by training them in agribusiness. She is a writer, blogger and author of the book "Being an Ambitious Woman in Mali," which contributes to the debates surrounding the empowerment of women and gender equality.
