Sophia is a consultant for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), currently supporting its SDG Integration unit (Bureau for Policy and Programme Support) to develop action learning initiatives for development practitioners to build capabilities in awareness-based systems transformation. I am also supporting the Regional Bureau for Asia and the Pacific (RBAP) Strategy, Policy, and Partnerships unit to develop its offer on strategic foresight and anticipatory planning and governance. 

On April 7th, Sophia will talk about why achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development calls for greater focus on the intangible dimensions of social change. She will share about some of the work she is doing in UNDP to more intentionally understand and engage with the role of inner development, consciousness, imagination, the future, and human relationships to enable more transformative, just, and equitable development outcomes.
